This project involved the preparation of an Environmental Policy for the State of Sabah, Malaysia for 2010-2020 in consultation with numerous government and non-government stakeholders.
MRF was contracted by behalf of Chemsain Konsultant Sdn Bhd (CKSB) on behalf of the State government to provide information and advice related to the said Policy; to draft a summary of existing local policy related to the said component; to carry out consultations with key agencies and prepare a summary report after the consultation; to participate in meetings with Environmental Protection Department, technical and steering committee, as well as workshops for the Project, and to prepare / provide input in preparing the said component for the necessary document i.e. inception report, discussion paper and subsequently the policy document for submission to the Environment Protection Department (EPD) Sabah.
